"Reddit: Davinci Jeremie"

This Monday my boss Davinci, sent a message on our workgroup chat saying a friend had just told him someone posted one of his old YouTube videos on Reddit:

I have to be honest I've heard of Reddit and seen its name a couple of time, but I've never used it nor looked into it. According to Digital Trends, "If you spend a lot of time online, chances are you’ve heard of Reddit. The site bills itself as the “front page of the internet,” and that’s not an empty boast: As of this writing, Reddit is the fifth most popular site in the United States, according to Alexa, and the 18th worldwide. So, what exactly is Reddit? Essentially, it’s a massive collection of forums, where people can share news and content or comment on other people’s posts.” Well, I didn't expect it to be such a huge platform.

Davinci is a software developer and posted this video seven years ago on his YouTube channel davincij15, back in the day it didn’t receive much feedback; maybe because if people nowadays are still skeptical about cryptocurrency; well in 2011 it was way more. On the video, Davinci shares his first experiences with paying with cryptocurrency and how easy it was to do a transaction "smooth and easy." He also adds the fact that with crypto you take full possession of your money without a middleman. Basically, trying to get people to believe in this incredible technology.

Check out feedback about Davinci´s Reddit video:

I believe the video either surprises or disappoints you. It surprises people because this being said with such conviction in such early stages of cryptocurrency is for sure very surprising, and it also may disappoint many because they didn't see this video sooner, or even worse you saw the video and didn't believe a word he was saying. Thinking that many of us could have seen and believed this video at that particular time when bitcoin was at its lowest. We would have all profited big time if we would've invested back then.

And then this happened:

In the office we don't think Davinci is Satoshi; well now we have our doubts.

All jokes aside, Davinci currently owns a software development company named Davinci Codes, soon to launch Pandora´s Wallet. The idea of Pandora´s Wallet is based on Davinci´s experience as a trader and seeing what’s missing out there to make trading easier.

Pandora´s Wallet is a virtual wallet, which allows a new way of managing cryptocurrencies. You can manage your different virtual currencies, sell and buy; all in the same platform. It will no longer be necessary to leave your coins on an exchange or have to store them in different wallet software. Currently, one of the most commonly used tips in the world of cryptocurrencies is not to leave your assets stored on an exchange, because they may be vulnerable to cyber-attacks, theft or loss by a closure.

For those who want to try out the wallet you can sign up; there will be an open beta release this Friday, December 14, and the final product will be ready for release on February 2019.

Hope you enjoyed it! Feel free to comment.
